There was once a girl who thought her life was perfect. She was gorgeous. Her personality was what made her though. She was always happy, willing to lend a hand, or give a ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on whenever and to whomever needed it. She loved to laugh and it was very easy to make her do so. Because of her personality she was able to make friends with anyone she came across, she had very few enemies. There was not many people she could not get a long with. She loved being around people. She was always with her friends having fun and making memories. Along with her friends, her family absolutely loved her, there was no doubt about that. She was completely spoiled too; anything she wanted she got, whether she worked for it or it was given to her. Her life was perfect.
But one day as she was hanging out with some friends, she realized that something was wrong with her. Was she sick? Hungry? Cold? She began a physical check of her body and then of her mind. While her friends were still joking around and having fun, she was performing her scans. During these scans she realized that something was wrong with her perfect life, but she could not figure out what it was. Later that night as she got ready for bed, she looked into the mirror to only discover what was wrong with her life. It was all a lie.
Now she was still spoiled by her family and her friends loved her very much that was not the lie. It was her that was. She wasn't the happy, laughing person she portrayed to everyone. She was a broken, depressed individual. She felt so alone, even though she had everyone she could imagine, no one knew the real her to be able to comfort her. She was to scared to tell anyone. No one would understand. She had the perfect life. Everyone would think she just wanted more attention and that is nothing like what she wanted. The only thing she wanted in life is for someone to understand her pain that came from nothing and out of nowhere. Sighing sadly, she looked away from the mirror to take off her pants to get ready for bed she caught sight of the fine, little white lines covering her thighs. She then realized the only thing that gave her true happiness would hurt anyone that found out. She got out her knife and started cutting, but instead of stopping after a few like normal she decided to keep going.
A funeral happened a week later. From up above, sitting on the clouds, God's newest angel watched her friends and family gather around a coffin. She watched as they cried from all the hurt she had cost them. She knew that they had found the scars, she had kept carefully covered for many years. But she also knew they would and could move with their lives without her. She knew as the years went day the pain of her passing would ease away till it would be nearly gone one day.
As she flew with her angle wings away from the cloud and her family and friends, she, herself, knew she could finally start living her eternal life without any more sadness or falseness that her previous life had held.
